Global Technology & Operations (GTO) includes over 17,000 associates across 42 countries Service our customers in operations and global customer call centers where we deliver global support services, including global real estate, global corporate security, and global innovation.  This role, for a Research and Resolution Rep III, will be responsible for responsible for researching simple to complex scenarios and handling highly escalated situations. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate corrections through core processing units, and communicate the resolution to our customers.
  • Submit corrections to be processed by core processing units.
  • Communicate resolution and expectations to internal and external customers.
  • Identify root causes and trends.
  • Special projects to be determined as needed.
  • Pro-Active customer centricity focus is required.
  • Cross-train across franchises including new business and post issue to effectively balance workload.
  • Contribute to the MetLife way.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • High School diploma
  • 3+ yrs. related experience

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ yrs. related experience
  • 2+ years of annuity experience.
  • Series 6 designation
  • Working knowledge of application forms, procedures, and workflow governing the processing of new business.
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus.
