Group Benefits Sales Academy Program

If you’re the type of person who embraces complex challenges and thrives on delivering real results in a collaborative environment, this is the program for you. Our Sales Academy is a salaried, 9-month comprehensive training program that will prepare you for your Sales Representative, Account Executive, or Sales Associate role by giving you the confidence and competence to excel.

Program Overview

The sales training program includes a combination of on-the-job and structured classroom learning that’s focused on building an understanding of risk management, the employee benefits industry, MetLife’s group benefits, and professional selling skills. In addition, there will be a team of individuals dedicated to your training, including your manager, an account executive mentor and sales leadership.

This is a business-to-business sales role. Your customers will be employer groups or other organizations seeking to provide a benefits package to their employees. In this role, you will partner closely with brokers and consultants to provide the right benefit solutions that meet the needs of the customer.
