Role Value Proposition: 

Global Operations (Global Ops) focuses on creating positive experiences for MetLife customers and helping the company make the best use of its global resources. We’re looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. In this role you will provide exemplary customer service by processing post issue transactions.  Respond to direct service requests or inquiries from policyholders, agents, call centers and others regarding a wide range of financial, legal, product and policy/contract specific issues. 

 

 Key Responsibilities:  

  • Processes basic to intermediate non-financial transactions and financial transactions for NOGO (not in good order) contracts.
  • Resolves simple to intermediate problems.
  • Gathers data from various computer systems and organizes the background data to support decision making.
  • Responds to basic to intermediate inquires, researches, and resolves simple to intermediate problems.
  • Serves as an additional point of contact for escalated cases from staff and for interdepartmental inquiries
  • Possible office support with our contract printing and receivable collections.

 

 Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 Required:

  • Strong working knowledge of state and federal laws and company policies regarding life insurance policies and provisions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of business experience
