Role Value Proposition

Full-time position providing administrative and light research support to team of government relations professionals, including but not limited to company officers, directors, and others. Also assist the general operations of the office.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide clear verbal and written communications
  • Manage schedules and coordinate meetings for multiple team members, as well as the overall team
  • Coordinate multiple internal and external meetings involving senior leaders in the company and external resources, including contact with government offices (e.g. congressional offices, Executive Branch offices, regulatory agencies, and other third-parties) and external industry stakeholders (e.g. trade associations)
  • Manage travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
  • Organize, prioritize, and direct general incoming and outgoing information, requests, and queries (by email, fax, phone, and mail)
  • Provide telephone support, with the ability to direct calls to appropriate resources.
  • Coordinate with IT support to resolve issues with PCs, laptops, mobile phones
  • Organize electronic and hard copy documents and communication that may require confidential treatment
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings with businesses, internal functions, and external groups, including producing impactful PowerPoint slides, that may require confidential treatment
  • Assist advocacy staff with light research and writing projects as needed
  • Assist with managing internal and external events (conferences, planning meetings, fundraisers, etc.)
  • Manage day-to-day miscellaneous activities
  • Assist with the general operations of the office and manage other processes

  • Self-starter; ability to independently anticipate needs, look ahead, plan for contingencies, manage concurrent tasks, prioritize tasks and follow-up
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to improve and stream-line processes
  • Strong customer-centricity skills
  • Superb inter-personal skills, demonstrating an ease with interacting professionally – at senior levels - within and across functional teams
  • Flexibility to move between competing priorities as needed/directed
  • Calendar/schedule management
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint, and internet skills
  • Discretion in handling confidential materials/information
