Associate, Metrics Reporting - Distribution Development

Role Value Proposition: 

The Senior Metrics Consultant will support Distribution Developments metrics, broker reporting and analysis and the modeling of monthly PFO and Sales projection.  This position will provide internal support to the RM CFO, Distribution Development leaders, relationship managers and coordinators by providing various reporting packages and tools to enable these leaders to provide insightful metrics to our broker community.    


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage monthly creation of SLT Executive Package, which supports the monthly metric views and provides transparency into Sales/PFO at a Broker/TPE Strategy by Entity, Market and Product
  • Provide Monthly Analysis to SLT Metrics in support of DD leaders
  • Align 5 Year sales plan process with market process to ensure consistency across Group Benefits
  • Provided continuous support on all Broker/TPE related requests
  • Financials support on Business cases and ROI’s for IT spending
  • Assist the broader RM team with creating efficient and effective data management and analysis of results


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience
  • Alteryx, or Python, R will be highly beneficial
  • Strong oral and written communication skills necessary
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and summarize effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Ability to build complex financial models to analyze transactions is necessary



  • Cognos Reporting User and Report Design
  • Experience efficiently managing large datasets
  • Experience extracting/manipulating data from SQL Server Environment utilizing reporting software.
  • Experience translating business partner requirements into Analytical results.
