Role Value Proposition: 

Position is responsible for providing administrative and customer service to group policyholders (employers), sales, brokers and vendors on policies that have 2 to 99 employees.  The focus for this role is for the servicing of customers with statutory disability plans, along with a subset of administrative responsibilities to support the Small Market operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds timely and accurately to client requests and policy questions via email or phone
  • Acts as liaison between client and internal MetLife areas
  • Comprehension and ability to communicate provisions of MetLife Statutory Disability Products
  • Ability to handle high transaction volumes on a daily basis
  • Manage due and unpaid accounts to conserve business

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and relationship management
  • Ability to work in a team environment and assist other areas when needed
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, set schedules and prioritize to meet both internal and external deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • 2-3 years claims, billing or related service experience
