Role Value Proposition: 

Support processes within the Global Technology & Operations (GTO) & Service. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the day to day relationships of external vendors.  The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors and will represent Vendor Management on projects, reporting, new or revised processes, and resource documentation associated with these vendors.  This role will have interaction with vendors as well as internal areas within MetLife.

    

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the main day to day contact for assigned vendors for receiving and resolving issues, escalations, assigned projects, processes, procedures, training and initiatives related to assigned vendors.
  • Perform reporting and root cause analysis to identify potential recurring issues and facilitate the development of process improvements and new efficiencies.
  • Participate in projects and/or phases of projects to implement new and/or modified processes, procedures, and/or enhancements related to vendor initiatives.  Actively participate in meetings between the vendor and/or key internal partners.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, job aids, and other resource material.
  • Ensure vendor service level agreements are being met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of Core and Voluntary insurance products
  • Knowledge of FSA, HSA, HRA and other related products
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Well-developed relationship building {interpersonal, communication, collaboration} skills, both internally and externally, with customers and vendors
  • Must be able to manage multiple assignments, be organized and efficient while working under minimal supervision
  • Exhibits flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment

Preferred:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
