Role Value Proposition:  Support processes within the Global Technology & Operations (GTO) & Service. With a focus on key vendors, the incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, reporting, and other resource documentation within the vendor management team. Support team members in implementing new or revised processes, procedures, and initiatives. This role will have interaction with the vendor as well as internal areas within MetLife. 


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform reporting and root cause analysis to identify potential recurring issues and facilitate the development of process improvement.
  • Participate in projects and/or phases of projects to implement new and/or modified processes, procedures, and/or enhancements related to vendor initiatives. Actively participate in meetings between the vendor and/or key internal partners.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, job aids, and other resource material.
  • Provide information to end users to help resolve inquiries related to escalations, assigned projects, processes, procedures, and initiatives.


Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of Accident & Health insurance products and Core Products
  • Well-developed relationship building {interpersonal, communication, collaboration} skills, both internally and externally, with customers and vendors
  • Must be able to manage multiple assignments, be organized and efficient while working under minimal supervision
  • Exhibits flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
  • Knowledge of GTO Service and/or Implementation processes, and systems
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • High School Diploma


Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
