Job Location: Hong Kong


The Role: This position will be the lead person in Hong Kong for Investments IT covering the APAC region, not included Japan. The person will work very closely with business partners supporting various Investment Applications and Infrastructure related items for that region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various Investment Applications and Infrastructure related items that are used in that region.
  • Build relationship management with business partners and IT colleagues across US and region
  • Partnering with the business and IT colleagues including Enterprise IT in IT Strategy/roadmap development and support for that region, ensuring tight alignment and synchronization with the overall Global Investments IT Strategy/roadmap.
  • Negotiate with business partners and other IT colleagues to provide recommended Investments IT solutions for Front to Back
  • Manage and deliver medium - large scale projects, in a virtual, highly matrixed environment, across multiple countries
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to the Investments Technology vision and overall strategy and architecture, standards and methodologies

Candidate Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, CIS, MIS or the equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in supporting Asset Management IT or Investments Banking IT Organization and have good understanding of Investment business and Infrastructure.
  • 3+ Years of Project Management Experience who can manage and deliver medium - large scale projects, in a virtual, highly matrixed environment, across multiple countries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good leadership and negotiation skills
  • Experience with BlackRock Trading System and/or Murex is a plus
  • Willing to travel if needed – max 10% of travel
