Position Summary

 

This position will play a pivotal role supporting GAO leadership and IA Leadership with their projects & initiatives, deploying PM methodology. Direct responsibility for the day-to-day schedule management & timeline adherence for key & critical deliverables as required by the leader. Ensure the following to deliver the work efficiently:

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will provide Project Management, Admin & Operational support to GAO with their projects, ensuring effective governance on day-to-day activities including support to coordinate the schedules. 

  • Assists Strategy Program Leader with support and project management activities to facilitate Audit Strategy Steer and relevant Program Status tracking/meetings and related communications, including Audit Committee updates, department/team Town Halls, etc.
  • Assists Head of Audit Operations, GAO Team, and Audit Leadership with project management activities for key department initiatives.
  • Provide full project management support:
    • Defining approach & delivery
    • Monitoring and tracking performance, status of assigned activities  
    • Scheduling project team meetings
    • Ensuring project governance & transparency 
    • Create, maintain, and centralize Project Data using a tool such as Adobe Workfront
    • Create, publish, and maintain project reports and dashboards
  • Work in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure timely deliverables
  • Provide oversight for all the functions the Specialist role is responsible for.
