The Senior Associate, Marketing Analytics will build relationships with partners across MetLife’s Marketing, US Business, IT, vendors and media/consulting agencies to understand business objectives, assess analytics requirements, as well as create and execute analytics and reporting solutions that play a key role in understanding MetLife’s customer experience and the performance of marketing programs.   The successful candidate will also investigate customer behaviors, attribution response and/or revenue, assess business impact and socialize findings for the betterment of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & evolve US Marketing team practices in executing data management, analytics planning, implementation, reporting and insights across marketing initiatives
  • Create and grow trusted cross-functional relationships; Collaborate with marketing stakeholders and technical constituents to develop requirements and implement new analytics solutions.
  • Optimize and scale analytics, IT and data ecosystem linkage.  Ensure analytic and IT operational best practices, including tag management, are scalable within the MetLife enterprise model.
  • Oversee data collection, automation and reporting for campaigns, website / portal behavior, and conversion funnel performance; Leverage data visualization tools & techniques to provide easy-to-understand marketing insights and translation into practical, actionable recommendations
  • Manage relationships with digital analytics vendors such as Google, Adobe and ClickTale
  • Perform deep dive analyses and other duties as assigned or required.


Essential Business Experience and Skills:


  • 2-3+ years of experience in data / digital analytics, monitoring business performance and creating recommendations to make key decisions
  • Adept in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • Experience leveraging data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Domo, QlikSense)
  • Knowledge of tag management platforms and processes (e.g. Adobe DTM, GTM & Ensighten)
  • Strong grasp of data management and flow as it relates to disparate reporting systems (e.g. ad serving, digital analytics, lead and sales reporting)
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, fundamental finance & budgeting concepts


  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or related business field.
  • Adobe Analytics / Web Analytics certified.
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (python, VBA/VBS, or similar) and digital languages (HTML, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with statistics & related data platforms (SPSS, SAS & R)
  • Experience with insurance/ financial services
  • Experience with measurement of marketing measurement & attribution
  • Working knowledge of project management software e.g. WorkFront, BaseCamp.
