Director, New Products & Revenue - Upwise

This position is responsible for working as a part of the New Products and Revenue team on identifying, developing, deploying and managing new products for the Financial Wellness & Engagement business to generate significant revenue and/or customer growth.

The position is responsible for incorporating external business intelligence and insight, conducting strategic business assessments, identification of potential new business growth options and opportunities to pursue.

The position is further responsible for being a part of the team that brings these concepts from ideas to execution, which includes go-to-market and operations plans and ongoing maintenance.

The position collaborates with partners across FW&E and the enterprise, in addition to being part of the New Products and Revenue team and working with cross‐ functional Upwise platform Agile teams to innovate and deliver results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team leadership in new product development and deployment for Financial Wellness & Engagement 
  • Helping manage product level revenue and performance metrics consistent with plan and value expectations
  • Helping ensure that product set meets the needs of the market segments and compliance with all regulations
  • Assist in developing full go-to-market strategy, operations and service plans and sales models with support from appropriate functions
  • Develop and manage third party relationships as required to deliver new products and world class customer experiences
  • Serve as subject matter expert partnering with Workforce Engagement team, Group Sales leadership, sales enablement and marketing to develop go-to-market strategy, training and sales support
  • Support sales teams during sales process from responding to RFPs through capability demonstrations for key, strategic accounts
  • Drive continuous ideation and value proposition enhancements based on customer, industry and competitor insights
  • Develop and maintain a complete view of the external environment through data and insight, (e.g. political, economic, social, technological, environmental, legal for informed business opportunity evaluation)
  • Support new business assessments where the revenue and value opportunity is large scale (e.g. merger, acquisition, JV, partnership)
  • Participate in cross functional teams across organizational lines including Upwise Agile teams

  • Form a strong partnership with the Upwise team to optimize product deployment and fit within the broader product roadmap


Position Requirements:

  • Proficiency in understanding all components of business financials and KPIs, operating models, interaction models, process, technology, people systems, and how to assess business opportunities
  • Proficiency in research and analysis of large‐scale businesses, environmental and competitive scans
  • Expert problem solving and engagement of cross functional teams in solutioning
  • Strong Communication skills and innovation/change management
  • Ability to translate & connect business priorities to market, customer, digital ecosystem
  • Proven ability to build a high‐performing cross‐functional team; disciplined execution of a lean‐agile approach a plus
  • Ability to drive results through direct lines of accountability and through partnership relationships
  • Strong ability to drive end to end business results
  • Strong manager of employee performance
  • Strong service level and customer service focus


Bachelor’s degree required, advance degree in related field preferred

Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
