Role Value Proposition

The Global HR Solutions & Operations Advisor will partner with regional Payroll Operations Leads in the deployment and optimization of payroll relationships with outsourced vendors, IT, and finance. The role will also support the VP – Global HR Service Delivery & Solutions in reporting on all global service delivery performance, outstanding requests, and the coordination of special projects. The role will along with the Global HR Service Delivery & Solutions Lead will drive process improvement across regional operations and monitor overall vendor relationships and performance relative to established KPIs. The Global HR Solutions & Operations Advisor will rollout and ensure compliance with appropriate operational and payroll governance and controls.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee process of selecting new payroll system / software / vendor as appropriate in coordination with Global HR Service Delivery & Solutions lead, Regional Payroll Operations Leads, IT, Finance and Procurement
  • Define a common set of performance metrics / KPIs that can be applied regionally / locally to drive end-to-end performance of payroll operations teams
  • Determine global payroll vendor Service Level Agreements (“SLA’s”)—in coordination with the HR Portfolio Management team—to align outsourced vendors with performance metric goals
  • Create, refine, and maintain global payroll processes to increase transparency and streamline audit (in coordination with HR Business Controls and Governance team)
  • Identify and work with Regional Payroll Operations Leads to coordinate local payroll support and delivery within the regions
  • Manage stakeholder relationships (e.g., Business lines, functional LOBs, external vendors) within governance structure
  • Develop and manage a clear process with IT to ensure implementation or optimization of payroll technologies and master data to incorporate integrated, standardized procedures
  • Provide insights on service delivery metrics providing a summary of issues and recommendations for opportunities to rectify
  • In partnership with regional service delivery leaders create governance for service delivery process compliance—includes reporting on / attending to areas of non-compliance
  • Design and coordinate delivery of global service delivery process change communications
  • Develop strategy to ensure maintenance of global service delivery and payroll process and controls documentation

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Word
  • HCM System Knowledge

 

Education, Experience and Certifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Relevant experience

 

Travel: Up to 10%
