EXPERIENCE:  Five (5) years of experience managing an information technology engineering or technology innovation function, including deployments of technology globally.

JOB DUTIES:

Lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers and IT contractors accountable for identifying, developing and deploying technologies for employees operating globally.  Manage annual budget and develop global technology strategies and roadmaps.  Manage deployment of infrastructure technologies related to Global Network (Core, Branch, Cabling), Distributed Systems (Storage, Compute, Automation, Performance Monitoring), Platform Engineering (Mainframe, Platforms, Databases), Security Engineering, Solutions Engineering, End-User Engineering (Desktop, Virtualization, Mobility, Unified Communication and Collaboration) and Cloud Engineering.  Lead key strategic technology initiatives to align next generation capabilities and services against a wide range of business requirements globally.  Lead the development of global standards for all Engineering teams that ensure appropriate support, cost-efficiency, technology currency and user alignment exists.  Lead specific functions focused on incident/change/problem management, vulnerability management, internal technology audits, risk management, project delivery and resource/capacity management.  Responsible for the planning, design, implementation and level four operational support of engineering solutions.  Lead negotiation and execution of technology agreements and deals.  Develop, cultivate and manage strategic relationships with global vendor partners to develop long-term strategic plans.  Create global strategic partnerships and consulting alliances with IT leads, business partners and external stakeholders and customers.  Cultivate and develop next-generation leaders across the Engineering organization. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Leading an IT function responsible for the discovery, investigation, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies aligned with technology or business-oriented strategies (5 years);

Leading IT functions with respect to incident/change/problem management, vulnerability management, internal technology audits, risk management, and/or resource/capacity management (5 years);

Driving optimal information technology and/or business related results through data-driven decision-making (5 years);

Developing and implementing technology strategies, policies and procedures at a global financial institution to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, privacy and risk requirements. (3 years); and,

Leading information technology projects in compliance with LSS, Agile and ITIL processes and frameworks (5 years).
