Position:  Senior Software Development Engineer (Cary, North Carolina)

Duties: Design and develop application functionality for multiple channels and devices. Provide architectural guidelines and conduct impact assessment for applications. Build code and review vendor codes. Perform application testing, debugging and deployments. Perform troubleshooting analyzing code and redesigning low level architecture. Create extensible, modular user interface (UI) frameworks. Research and develop a variety of problem domains. Prepare documentation and ensure proper security and compliance to SDLC process. Communicate and collaborate with technical architects/solution designers, business users and stakeholders to analyze business needs, understand functional requirements and develop documentation required to implement the solution. Follow approved SDLC and project management methodology, ensuring that all required steps are followed, all required deliverables are produced, and all approvals are obtained.

Requirements: Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience designing, developing and implementing J2EE web applications or, alternatively, a Master's degree and two (2) years of experience as noted above. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section) must also possess the following: designing and developing customer facing web applications using J2EE frameworks, JavaScript, SOAP/RESTful web services and SSO, Test Driven Development, PL/SQL, including low-level and high-level technical design documents adhering to architecture recommendations with use cases, UML diagrams and pseudocode; developing back-end applications to expose and consume SOAP web services using JAX-WS and load testing using smart bear SOAPUI; performing multithreading performance tuning for web applications; automating software delivery (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, uDeploy, Artifactory, Gitblit, Jenkins, JAX-WS) using Atlassian Stack; building and consuming web services, UI/front end development and debugging of web based applications and source code versioning using SoapUI, MS Visio, AQT,Chrome developer tools, Fiddler, DynaCache API, Starteam, and Buildforge; and designing and implementing highly secured single sign on (SSO) applications using algorithmic implementations for encryption mechanisms, including implementing, authentication and authorization mechanisms using SAML 2.0 with applications communicating using industry standard federation servers, RBAC security coding on https protocols and certificates. Eligible for employee referral program. Salary: $115,149.00/year. 9AM – 6PM, Monday – Friday.
