Senior Web Access Management Engineer

Role Value Proposition: 

The Sr. Single Sign-On (SSO) / Federation Services Engineer will be responsible for delivering solutions using various Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools including Broadcom SiteMinder VIP Hub. Responsibilities will include analysis, development, installation, modification and support of MetLife’s access management solutions. This position requires the resource to be a subject matter expert (SME) in SSO and Federation. You must have strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality solutions while enforcing adherence to MetLife’s Information Security policies and regulatory obligations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver IAM solutions
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the development of solution design specifications and deployment
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for requirements consulting
  • Provide leadership in Tier 3 troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and keep the IAM platforms in compliance and current
  • Proactively identify technical and procedural areas of concern and proposes pragmatic solutions
  • Guides team towards architecture North Star

 

Essential Business and Technical Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in professional services, financial services, or the insurance industry
  • 5+ years of experience with SiteMinder v12.x policy server and agent installation, configuration, and support
  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting web services using SiteMinder v12.x or with similar Web Access Management (WAM) solutions (e.g., AD FS, IBM TIM/TAM, Oracle OAM, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with SiteMinder Federation or with similar federation products (e.g., ADFS, PingFederate, etc.) 

 

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring and supporting Apache, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), or MS IIS
    5+ years of experience working on privileged access management systems like CyberArk, RSA SecureID
  • Ability to develop productive relationships with client and IT management, staff and vendors
  • Industry recognized security certification such as a CISSP or similar certification
  • Siteminder Migration experience v12.x to v12.8.05
