This role will require global coordination with IT and Compliance partners and working technology solutions to enhance the compliance processes. The role will provide key tactical support for systems support, testing, configuration, build and analysis for the current technology portfolio within Legal Affairs.

    

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Drive, coordinate and facilitate technical aspects of the project; whether it be working with the Single Sign On team to implement the necessary changes for a SaaS based solution, building a data feed/extraction or report OR engage the appropriate technical teams as an example (networking, IT Risk, engineering, multimedia, etc)
  • Create the necessary ETL processes and perform the needed database work, in order to develop BI reports for our business partners.
  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of applications following the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Responsible for detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Will have heavy customer interaction.
  • Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions.
  • Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
  • Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
  • Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large scale system.
  • Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
  • Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
  • Provides technical support to technical vendor resources.
  •  As appropriate; designs and codes business process models; designs and codes business rules and algorithms.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • 7+ years of hands on experience with complex enterprise software implementations (including client-server applications), coordination with third party vendors and Enterprise Infrastructure teams
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills (sense of urgency, work independently but collaborate as a team player when need be, escalate appropriately and ability to influence others)
  • Experience working in a Fortune 500 company
  • Experience managing offshore or other junior consulting resources
  • Hands on ETL development and support of at least 5 years
  • Development experience in JAVA or .NET
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (VB Script, etc.)
  • Excellent/Strong communication skills
  • Development experience with Oracle database
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technology related field

 

Preferred:

  • ETL development background with Informatica or other ETL tools
  • Development experience with PostgreSQL
  • Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) development experience
  • Knowledge of Workflow or Case Management tools
  • At least 7 years hands on experience working part of IT Relationship Management or Application Development Team
  • Database administration, design, configuration and scripting is a plus. (Microsoft SQL is a plus)
  • Experience with Data Warehouses
