As a member of MetLife’s Global Agile Enablement team (Global Lean-Agile Center of Excellence), you will help accelerate the next phase of MetLife’s Agile Transformation! Our team provides a leadership role in the Enterprise evolution towards agility. We are looking for Change Management Specialist that will bring the deep understanding of the communications, processes, tools and techniques needed to help manage the people side of change. You will be architecting and developing the strategy that will prepare, equip and support individuals moving through our Agile transformation so that we successfully adopt the mindset, behaviors and principles of agility. 

     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify impacted audiences by completing stakeholder analysis and impact assessments, defining personas, areas of resistance, motivators, etc. 

  • Partner with business owners to define adoption and business success 

  • Craft holistic, right-sized change strategies 

  • Partner with training and communications team members to architect and develop plans consistent with our change strategy, approach, and branding 

  • Leverage data and metrics to gain feedback and pivot as needed 

  • Partner with the Senior Vice Presidents and their leadership teams to develop a strategy and methodology to drive holistic adoption 

  • Identify change risks and develop mitigation strategies that lead to successful adoption 

  • Understand the preferences, needs and fears of a multi-generational workforce 

  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists in a hub-spoke model 

  • Manage the performance throughout the OCM lifecycle 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:  

 

Required:  

  • 5+ years of experience leading organizational change management strategy, planning, development, and delivery associated with enterprise changes of structure, systems or processes 

  • Sense of accountability to own end-to-end change plan beyond project delivery to ensure we meet our goals 

  • At least two cases where OCM principles and practices were applied for a complete lifecycle initiative 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the organizations, drive consensus and a shared understanding 

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • OCM or Organizational Change Management Professional (Prosci) Certification 

  • Knowledge of other OCM frameworks such as Kotter OCM and McKinsey 7-S 

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can flex and prioritize based on new information and program changes 

  • Track record of converting ideas to impact. Strategic thinker with a bias toward execution, focusing on benefits optimization, risk mitigation, and data-driven decision-making processes. 

  • Natural problem-solver with proven experience managing multiple unique projects and stakeholder groups 

  • Agile Product Management and portfolio-level business operations, strategies and objectives. 

  • Agile work management tools (e.g. AzDO, TargetProcess, Miro) 

  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks, methods and techniques including
