DEPARTMENT:  MetLife Auto & Home: This role is part of MetLife Auto & Home (MLAH), a key component of the Americas business.  MLAH designs, manufactures and distributes proprietary Property and Casualty insurance products through multiple distribution channels including Retail (Career Agent, Independent Agent, MPCG Alliance), GVWB and Direct channels.

THE ROLE:

 

We are looking for a highly qualified Content Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, and developing MetLife Auto and Home (MLAH) Content Management Strategy. This strategy includes: creating, improving and maintaining cohesive content and brand voice to achieve our business goals. This role also entails partnering with key stakeholders such as IT, Product, Marketing and external vendors to manage our Content Library and execute on this strategy.

 

It is expected that the incumbent will leverage new and existing consumer and customer research to understand the best ways to communicate and engage with all identified segments of customers. The right candidate will be able to create consistent stories in order to achieve the key objectives of each new customer campaign resulting in MLAH business margin growth through upsell, cross sell, retention, referrals and loyalty programs.

 

This is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills as well as content optimization and brand consistency experience. As a Content Manager, this associate should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Ultimately, this incumbent should be able to oversee all content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing campaigns
• Design and develop MLAH Content Management Strategy providing recommendations and implementing those solutions
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute on our Content Management Strategy
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to produce and manage MLAH content across all distribution channels to support customer campaigns (upsell, cross-sell, referrals, engagement and loyalty programs)
• Develop and manage MLAH Content Library
• Manage and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and exceptional quality control of customer communications in all channels
• Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts
• Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
• Optimize content according to SEO
• Partner with key stakeholders to leverage content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
• Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
• Develop an editorial and content calendar and ensure key stakeholders are on board
• Vendor negotiation and management
• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
• Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention

 

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:
• 3-5 years of proven work experience in Digital content management or related areas such as: Digital advertising, Marketing automation or Customer communications
• Hands on experience of  Content Management System software
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Familiarity with social media
• Excellent writing  and editorial skills in English
• Ability to lead, problem-solve, take initiative, and be proactive
• Good organizational and time-management skills; ability to work on multiple deadline-oriented projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail
• Knowledgeable on software such as Adobe Acrobat Creative Suite, MS Office and WordPress preferred
• BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or relevant fields
