Role Value Proposition:

 

The Account Executive – Expat Benefits sells expatriate employee benefit products and manages a portfolio of group customers in their territory. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Working independently, sells expatriate employee benefit products to group customers primarily through broker channel.
  • Maintains and grows a profitable book of business for assigned accounts and territory through product sales, upsells, and renewals.
  • Builds lasting reciprocal relationships with clients and brokers through open communications around mutual objectives.
  • Thought leader in relation to industry and marketplace with the ability to educate colleagues on marketplace trends and insights.
  • Responsible for strategic account planning including cross product account planning with US Group reps.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years industry experience- Insurance, brokerage or financial.
     

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Expat/Global benefits preferred
  • Group Life and Health License (strongly preferred) or be able to get it within three months of hire
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years previous experience successfully selling insurance products (group employee benefits strongly preferred).
