Key Responsibilities

As a Test Manager, you would be working to Create test strategy, plan, and manage execution of  SIT/UAT for new life insurance product development projects.

We are looking for an experienced test manager/lead who can efficiently collaborate with product owners (Biz leads), developers, business analysts, scrum masters and other stakeholders to ensure quality of application development deliverables.

Also, this role has opportunities to establish transformation of entire testing process of new life insurance product development by comprehending the entire life insurance IT system.

 

Key activities of FA are:

  • Leads the planning and documenting test strategies and acceptance criteria based on customer needs
  • Create relationship with project stakeholders such as IT leads, IT FAs and Biz leads
  • Create master test plan
  • Manage FAs and dev members test related activities such as test case creation and execution
  • Understanding the business processes at the feature level to pro-actively look for ways to innovate and improve the testing process to gain efficiencies.
  • Leads test execution (new builds and regression), test suite grooming, analyze the reports, troubleshoot & investigate the failures.
  • Manage and facilitate test automation activities

 

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences

  • Test management/lead, or Project management experiences (5+ years)
  • Team management experiences (3+ years)
  • Japanese writing and verbal skills (Native/N2)
  • General understanding of Agile development methodology

 

Helpful Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences

  • Software testing and quality management qualification (ISTQB/JSTQB, ISO9000, ISO29119, etc.)
  • Test automation experiences (UFT/Selenium web driver)
  • Test and defects management tools (JIRA, Quality Center, qTest, etc.)
  • English writing skills (Business)
  • Agile software development project experiences
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Program and project management skills
  • Ability to organize and influence diverse work groups to accomplish business goals
