Role Value Proposition: 

Our Investments Technology’s Derivatives team needs a senior Murex resource with strong experience in the financial industry.    

 

Key Responsibilities:  

Work with business partners to gather requirements

Participant in technical design, implementation and testing

Production support

Support derivatives front office using Murex for derivatives order management and derivatives trading

Support derivatives middle office using Murex for trade confirmation and valuation

Support derivatives back office using Murex for accounting and settlement

Support risk management team using Murex for compliance and risk check 

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

Required:

  • 5 years of experience in software design and implementation field. Knowledge of Java and SQL is a must
  • Ability to work closely with business partners in financial industry. Previous experience in financial industry is required. Previous experience in derivatives field is preferred  
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field
  • Experience in Agile Software Delivery
  • Excellent Communications Skills - both Technical and Business
  • Previous experience on Murex is a big plus

 

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of that experience in a test automation
  • Experience as a Programmer/Software Engineer
  • Insurance/Finance Industry Experience
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Training
  • Experience with IBM Mainframe
  • Experience with Web Applications (GUI & Services)
  • Test Data Management
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps
