Senior Analyst - Real Estate Equity Portfolio Management

The Senior Analyst will support MIM Real Estate’s newest comingled real estate fund, focused on core, core-plus, and development investments in major markets throughout the United States. Primary responsibilities for this position include portfolio level underwriting and modeling, overseeing the production of external and internal reporting, and additional support related to transaction analysis, capital raising activity, and investor communication. 


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support the fund’s portfolio manager in driving and monitoring portfolio performance through in-depth analysis at the portfolio and deal level.
  • Establish strong working relationships with MIM’s Client Services Group, Finance Department, and the Real Estate regional office network.
  • Work closely with the portfolio manager in the development and maintenance of portfolio models and other projections and reporting infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the completion of monthly / quarterly / annual internal and external client reporting packages.
  • Support the portfolio manager in the preparation of pitchbooks, quarterly investor call materials, and other activities related to client meetings and investor outreach.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis in support of projects at the asset and portfolio level.
  • Support ESG and the portfolio manager in special projects related to the expansion of MIM Real Estate’s investment management platform.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Ability to work in a high performance, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to appropriately prioritize deadlines; The ability to coordinate and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, with experience in investment management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, knowledge of real estate underwriting practices a plus.
  • Familiarity with Argus Enterprise or DCF. Knowledge of other real estate specific applications such as VTS and MRI/Yardi a plus.



  • BA/BS in real estate or finance preferred.
