The Investment Data Management Analyst will be responsible to perform the daily, monthly and year-end activities in our Investments office to support the Global Investment platforms. Candidates must possess a general knowledge and understanding of Security set-ups, investment instruments, and related data needs.  The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who will also participate in project initiatives related to data.


Key Responsibilities: 

  •  Perform daily quality checks to ensure accurate, complete and timely data.
  • Quality control oversight of breaks between Aladdin portfolios and MIM’s Investments Book of Record.
  • Develop relationships with multiple processing units to maximize efficient research and resolution.
  • Create Reconciliation documentation and maintain as standard operational procedure.
  • Regularly report relevant metrics for measuring data quality, accuracy, effectiveness, and consistency for management review.
  • Identify efficiencies to streamline and improve cash reconciliation processes.
  • Evaluate and identify data issues where system enhancements are required.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting data quality issues reported by end users.
  • Partner with team members across the organization to understand, identify and address issues.
  • Proactively develop recommendations to enhancements processing efficiencies.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, as well as any other related field of expertise.
  • 7+ years of operations experience in the Financial Services industry, Capital Markets or Investment Products (Fixed Income & Equity Securities).



  • Experience with Aladdin, Reference Data Platforms, Bloomberg or other Investment platforms.
  • Problem solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team.
  • General understanding of investment operations support, reporting, data integrity and fixed income and equity securities analytics.
