This full-time position is responsible for providing executive administrative support to the SVP of MetLife Investment Management’s Debt Strategies Group (“DSG”) and supporting the DSG staff that are responsible for the management of a $75 billion portfolio. This position requires attention to detail, organization, flexibility and the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in an environment that requires frequent change.  This individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.  The individual is expected to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of discretion and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform all DSG’s administrative duties with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Coordinate Investment Committee: scheduling and calendar entries
  • Effectively manage Microsoft Outlook calendars and schedule meetings, teleconference and WebEx/Microsoft Teams
  • Assist in maintaining and updating of commercial mortgage process manuals and web portal
  • Coordinate travel plans, hotels, and transportation; Prepare travel & entertainment reimbursement reports
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
  • Process manual billings/ check requests
  • Maintain group’s office supply inventory; Create and maintain an accurate, organized, and efficient filing system and filing room
  • On board and setup new employees in DSG
  • Draft meeting agendas and distribute documentation to participants.
  • Coordinate events for executive leadership including venue, caterning, and necessary equipment/supplies.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Highly proficient with PC equipment and software programs, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDFs)
  • Detail oriented, dependable, discreet, proactive & highly organized
  • Highly professional in presence, interpersonal skills, and communication (oral and written)



  • Highly motivated, responsible, and resourceful
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Impeccable communication skills & phone etiquette
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels in the MetLife organization
