Summary of Responsibilities: 

The primary responsibility of a New Business Inbound Calls Representative is to support financial advisors and our internal wholesalers with inquiries concerning pre-sale questions and newly submitted business.  A New Business Inbound Calls Representative also researches and resolves customer requests and inquiries as well as refers questions and inquiries to appropriate administrative areas for processing and resolution.  An associate in this position is expected to utilize various resources to assess a situation and determine an appropriate course of action.

    

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Answer incoming phone calls regarding annuity products from financial advisors and wholesalers responding to inquiries regarding policy provisions and/or status updates
  • Research and resolve customer requests
  • Stay current on procedures, corporate initiatives, annuity markets and products to provide accurate and timely information
  • Respond promptly and calmly to changing events and new situations
  • Maintain and build a rapport and working relationship with wholesalers
  • Perform other duties as required

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Series 6 designation
  • High School Diploma
  • 3 or more years of customer service experience 
  • Strong phone, customer centricity and communication skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under the pressure of working against strict quality and performance guidelines
