In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of the Private Asset Client Service Operations Team and ensure specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. You will ensure all activities conducted in accordance of compliance regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will work closely with the Business and partner with the existing reporting and client service teams
- Actively participate in all phases of the client reporting process and operations
- Develop and maintain reports from various data sources to produce daily, monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate reporting by challenging the conventional view constructively and respectfully
- Foster a cooperative environment and work with the team to meet existing requirements while laying the foundation for future improvements
- Produce/Create key artifacts that are critical to the documentation and organization of the existing reporting and operation process
- Provide exceptional customer service to extend existing clients satisfaction
- Regular phone and email interaction with client to address questions
- Provides clients with alternative solutions to requests and can identify possible design alternatives
- Acts as a liaison between the client and internal MetLife teams
- Collaborate with and act as a liaison with Third Party Reporting Agents to assist with problem resolution and trouble shooting
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- 10+ years of recent experience in Asset Management (Buy Side) Reporting in a similar role
- Proficiency with creating reporting packages and bringing together data from various sources in an accurate and timely way, Aladdin experience is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience and comfort dealing directly with Clients, Investment Teams, and other senior stakeholders
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in team environment
- Highly organized, detail oriented, ability to prioritize tasks, work in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to use multiple sources to verity transaction details, holdings attributes, and other activity
- Knowledge of a broad range of Public and Private Assets classes (Corporate Debt, Infrastructure, ABS)
