Job Summary

  • We are looking for Cyber Security Professional for a leading life insurance company based in Tokyo and also remotely work with offshore offices.
  • You will be expected to play a critical role as Cyber Security Support Analyst to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s and customer’s information.
  • Expect to provide hands-on work for the daily activities and also propose solutions to the improvement initiatives.
  • Immediate focus areas will be Security Awareness, Security Change Request Management, Security Infrastructure Implementation/Change and Security Incident Response.
  • Expect to promote our IT Risk & Security programs by working closely in the IT organization and with other control functions as well as related businesses.



  • Ensure our IT Risk & Security programs are properly followed to manage cyber security risks.
  • Lead on-going and enhancement of security awareness.
  • Manage, approve and enhance the process of security change requests.
  • Lead a project of security infrastructure implementation/change.
  • Execute security incident response process for the company by closely working with any related teams at the time of BAU and actual security events.
  • Expect to be familiar with one or more of following key security domains: Security & Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture & Engineering, Communications & Network Security, Identity & Access Management, Security Assessment & Testing, Security Operations, Software Development Security.
  • Communicate and liaise proactively work with local and global counterparts for planning and executing various activities.
  • Respond to the regulatory changes or industry wide trends relating to IT Risk & Security and analyze for implications or measures to be taken as necessary.



  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in IT Risk & Security related field.
  • Business level English and advanced level Japanese
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports for all levels of staff in an appropriate clear language and provide oral presentation.
  • Willing to learn new IT technologies and achieve goals in IT Risk & Security.



  • Interest in broader risk management areas such as IT risk governance, third-party risk and emerging tech risk management.
  • Experience or interest in financial industry particularly life insurance.
  • Familiar with regulatory/industry standards (NIST CSF, PCI DSS, FISC)



  • CISSP or similar certification is a plus
