Role Value Proposition: 

Complete sales training program which includes a combination of structured classroom and on-the-job learning with a focus on building an understanding of the industry landscape, MetLife products and services, organizational infrastructure and sales skills.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Reports to a Regional Leader and supports the sale, service and renewal of  products including Life, Dental, Vision, Disability, Hyatt Legal
  • Develops working knowledge on product offerings, tools, technology, processes and operations.
  • Ability to utilize core selling skills to deliver client-centric solutions
  • Provides post-sale service and interaction with clients as needed.
  • Works effectively with a seasoned RL and SMSR who serve as a mentor including the participation in meetings with the mentor and his/her Rm Sales Partners, brokers, and Underwriters.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Generate reports to track/report activities, progress, and strategies
  • Participates actively in weekly sales team meetings and other training opportunities
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:



  • 0-1 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Life, Health and Property & Casualty licenses (within 90 days)
  • Must remain up-to-date with continuing education requirements to maintain licensing



  • Ability develop working knowledgeable on primary product offerings
  • Ability to utilize core selling skills to respond to leads and deliver client-centric solutions
  • Working knowledge of contract, tools and technology.
  • Knowledge of MetLife’s service platform, processes and operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Presentation skills; Customer focus approach; Relationship building; Interpersonal skills
