Role Value Proposition: 

The SharePoint Developer will work within our Investments IT team with collaboration and enablement systems. The position includes creating, optimizing, and maintaining the Microsoft SharePoint solutions to address the needs and challenges of the business. The SharePoint Developer would also help train or guide business teams and other IT staff members in existing or new SharePoint method/technologies. The focus of the SharePoint developer is to work on the implementation of the provided design, debug and test efforts of business solutions

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of custom solutions that include Site Collections, Templates, Sites, Libraries, Web Parts, Lists, and Columns for SharePoint in support of the business requirements
  • Development of SharePoint applications using C# and MS SQL Server
  • Develop SQL Server SSIS solutions to support data requirements
  • Developing user interface enhancements to SharePoint using K2, jQuery, JSLink, XSLT, and CSS code
  • Work with IT management and business teams to translate business requirements into SharePoint 2016 solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all established architecture standards, as well as follow the systems development life cycle and project management life cycle processes
  • Supporting the creation of training documentation
  • Providing project or task statuses

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a major in related field preferred (CIS, MIS, Computer Science / Engineering)
  • 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint administrator
  • 5+ years with Microsoft SQL Server including  SSIS and/or SSRS
  • 5+ years of development experience with .NET development
  • 3+ years of development experience working with Microsoft SharePoint, utilizing Visual Studio.
  • Experience in identification of business requirements, then translating those requirements to various development aspects of SharePoint.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in interpreting and writing requirements, and status updates.
  • Strives to remain technically proficient in technology innovations

 

Preferred

  • Advanced level SharePoint application support and development knowledge
  • Experience with C# and REST APIs
  • Photoshop or similar
  • SharePoint 2016 Experience and/or experience with SharePoint Workflows
  • PowerShell scripting experience in support and troubleshooting of Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013/2016
  • Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS {ideally building master pages/layouts}, jQuery, AngularJS)
  • Microsoft SharePoint Designer: Data view web parts and Workflows
