We are hiring a Senior Technology Liaison for the Enterprise Planning and Budgeting team who supports the Global Financial Planning and Budgeting system deployments and enhancements at MetLife.  We are seeking an individual with in-depth Finance and Project Management experience, as well as experience in leading projects to deploy planning applications, to assist with system and enhancement implementations that support the Financial Planning and Budgeting processes.  We seek a candidate who can work independently, has a passion for Finance and Technology and can coordinate effectively with business and IT teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive project deliverables – high-level milestones, track project/enhancement statuses.
  • Liaison with Business and IT and support consulting teams as needed.
  • Translate business needs into requirement documents.
  • Support the development of, and manage detailed project plans, requirements, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate and moderate project meetings.
  • Communicate project statuses to Business Sponsor, other key stakeholders and IT.
  • Create user acceptance testing plans and scenarios and assist in the management of the testing with end users and report out on UAT progress.
  • May provide information and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to new or revised processes, procedures, and/or initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Three plus years of experience in Hyperion Planning and/or Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution (EPBCS)  program deployments; with experience in the Oracle tool suite – FDMEE, DRM, Essbase, etc.
  • Three plus years of experience in the preparation of project charters, business requirements documents, and similar documentation supporting project management efforts.
  • Strong Project Management experience with a technical aptitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills ; ability to work independently and resolve issues.
