Role Value Proposition: 

This position supports the governance and administration of the global expense allocations and controls, department hierarchies, and line of business expense reporting which includes but is not limited to validating the accuracy of expense allocations, researching unexpected results, supporting business partners in the development of prorates, and processing post allocated adjustments.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience in expense allocations, global hierarchy management, and the expense planning processes while building relationships with a broad range of groups.


   Key Responsibilities:  

  • Timely and accurate reporting of segment and entity expense validation results
  • Review monthly results and perform research on identified anomalies
  • Prepare and process complex allocation adjustment journals across entities and products
  • Conduct research on post allocated expenses to support GAAP / STAT reporting analytics and state examinations
  • Partner with various teams including corporate functions, controllers, and FP&A groups to provide support on analysis of segment and entity results
  • Review and approve monthly global department hierarchy alignments and assist in rationalizing the structures
  • Maintain auditable supporting documentation for year-end, internal/external audits, and SOX compliance
  • Identify, implement, or strengthen internal controls in new and existing processes
  • Assist in developing business requirements, documenting procedures and processes, and testing as needed
  • Continually seek opportunities for improvement in accordance with LEAN principles and partner with internal and external teams to implement best in class processes


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:



  • 5+ years of related work experience 
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and advanced formulas)
  • Self-starter who works independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems in a timely manner



  • Experience with Oracle systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related field
