Job Location:  Virtual but must be commutable to one of the following MetLife offices:    Tampa, FL; Oriskany, NY; West Des Moines, IA; Bloomfield, CT; Aurora, IL; Warwick, RI

 

Role Value Proposition

In addition to extracting large amounts of data to allow RIS Operations leadership to make informed business decisions, this  position will also focus on the preparation, tracking and analysis of Operational performance metrics.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and metric practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills including VBA
  • Provides data analysis, trending, observations, and recommendations for review by senior management.
  • Presents results and analysis to management and senior leadership for business reviews and/or operational updates.
  • Consults with business leaders to determine data reporting, analysis, and timing for current and future.
  • Interpret and translate operational metrics into performance presentation.
  • Participates in special projects, focus groups and special assignments.
  • Actively participates in conducting research, gathering quality information and the production of reports that provide key quality improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Supports organization with various System Access Management requests
  • Maintains Federal and State tax withholding tables
  • Supports the testing and system implementation of tax table changes
  • Collaborates with multiple business partners to support the annual TEFRA and FATCA regulatory notice report generation and subsequent mailings
  • Partners with business teams to process annual tax form mailings (W4, W4P, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

 

Required Experience:

  • 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated planning, tactical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation skills.
