Accounting Intern

Role Value Proposition: 

The Intern will be responsible for assisting in the review of monthly, quarterly and annual GAAP reporting. These reports will be included in 10-Qs, 10-Ks, monthly financial statements, QFS, and annual subsidiary financial statements. Intern also will assist in analytics by researching domestic and non-US markets and analyzing actual to actual ledger variances. The Intern may also assist in special projects or ad hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review of disclosures in the 10-K, 10-Q, QFS, and stand-alone audited financial statements
  • Assist in addressing questions from external and internal auditors and financial reporting teams
  • Support process improvement efforts
  • Assist in research of new accounting pronouncements or disclosure requirements.
  • Ad hoc reporting.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) 
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, prioritize and is able to work with a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to listen and understand the customer’s needs
  • Ability to support, facilitate, and participate in activities that promote team effectiveness
  • Exhibits good problem solving, analytical skills, attention to detail and use of sound judgment



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Working towards CPA, a plus
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles is a plus
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint is a plus
