Job Summary:

Staff Accountant process and maintain financial data to support the accounting cycle and provide information for financial statements. Duties include, but are not exclusive of, the following:


Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Enter and record payable payments
  • Review and process employee expense reports
  • Create recurring and adjusting journal entries
  • Reconcile ACH and credit card payments
  • Assist with the calculation of third-party fees
  • Compile monthly compensation reporting
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance
  • 1 year Accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Ability to handle aggressive deadlines, set appropriate expectations and juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent listening, organizational, multitasking and communication skills
  • Ability to think critically, problem solve, communicate and manage task execution
  • Ability to be a team player and contribute when needed

The wage range for this position specific to Colorado is $57,100 to 76,100.  You may be also eligible for the MetLife Annual Variable Incentive Plan ("AVIP").  Your eligibility for an AVIP award are governed by the terms of the applicable plan or program documents.
