Role Value Proposition: 

As a part of the Human Resources Digital Strategy and Technology Operations team, this position will support our HR systems strategy and key initiatives for Talent Acquisition, Performance Management and Learning.

 

The Junior Workstream Strategist will collaborate with Lead HRIS consultants within the HR Organization in evaluating and recommending the best use of MetLife HR technologies, aligning with the enterprise strategy and partnering with multiple workstreams, vendor and Global Technology partners. This position reports to the Director of HR Cloud Strategy and Operations.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manages global system configurations and environment scheduling activities
  • Leads triage and resolution delivery of production issues for global configuration
  • Leads the coordination and delivery of new modifications and system upgrade testing for Talent platforms
  • Manages internal end user relationships with HR-IT, in support of Talent projects
  • Manages relationships with Workstream Strategists (Lead HRIS Consultants)
  • Prepares complex system documentation, testing plans, and schedules in collaboration with Talent partners.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Oversee medium-to-large sized projects, including oversight of project teams and adhere to timelines
  • Practice agile and continuous improvement mindset in approaching assigned deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with all key stakeholders
  • Understanding of strategic initiatives and their association to the Enterprise strategy
  • Motivated, focused, and innovative
  • Ability to participate in high-performing virtual teams in a global environment

 Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Talent suite platforms, processes and support that include Talent Acquisition and Marketing, Learning Management, Performance Management and Succession Planning
  • Strong project management and analyst skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Solutions (Teams, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel)

 Preferred:

  • Experience with Oracle Talent or SAP SuccessFactors (BizX)
  • Experience with Avature ATS/CRM
  • Avature Certification – Advanced Level through Subject Matter Expert

The wage range for applicants for this position is $71,700 - 109,900.  This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
