Technical Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

  1. Management and technical support for Server and Storage systems 
  2. Liaise with global and regional support team on operations Network equipment operations and management of Network Services 
  3. Liaise with global and regional support team on provisioning of system security services (e.g., security admin. for servers; operations and support for IPS/IDS…etc.) 
  4. Planning and provisioning of System Management Services to achieve targeted Service Level Objectives and KPIs 
  5. Liaise with Global and Regional project team to support project based initiatives for development and improvement of IT infrastructure in Hong Kong 
  6. Planning and support for Disaster Recovery services, including but not limited to annual DR drills and maintenance of DR plan and procedures 
  7. Planning and support for Annual IT ISO audit activities, such as ISO27001, etc… with Certification Body (SGS) and External Pre-auditor. 
  8. Incident, Problem and Change Management support of the IT supported platforms using standardized global solutions/tools, such as ServiceNow with our Service Providers like IBM, AT&T, PCCW, HGC, etc... 
  9. Major Incident Management support is required for high severity incidents 
  10. Other tasks or assignments as directed by Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure

 

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least 5 years solid experience in Data Center Operations and Network Management 
  2. Certificate in ITIL foundation in IT Services Management 
  3. Hands on network maintenance experience including LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS 
  4. Certified Cisco Network Engineer would be an advantage 
  5. Experience in Cisco router, switch and firewall configuration 
  6. Experience in maintenance, administrations and support of Server Operating systems (i.e.,MS WIN 2008, AIX, OS400..etc.) and middleware (i.e., IBM Websphere, MQ …etc.)  
  7. Experience in MS OS365 client support 
  8. Experience in database support (i.e., Oracle, SQL …etc.) and Avaya call logging systems would be an added advantage
  9. Good trouble shooting, problems solving and communications skills
  10.  Flexible working hours during weekends or night time on needed basis for scheduled or emergency support
  11. Fluent in both spoken and written English & Chinese
