Position Summary

This position plays a very critical role for offshore Technology Services in application development. Someone with proven good exposure in managing application development processes; specially in application modernization, microservices, Cloud APIs, DevOps in a complete Agile environment. Someone with minimal directions from respective Technology leaders can work with individual team members to assist in their regular delivery. Can be engaged at the initial level in an area to understand the skills required and accordingly can contribute in onboarding right talent, help them transitioning and settled in the respective assignment. Proactive work with onshore partners and assist the offshore resources. Someone can also perform organizations administrative duties, talent development and other relevant initiatives. Someone can add value at strategy level or drive strategic initiatives for multiple leaders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engaged in due diligence for technical design – mostly Java web application
  • Participate in Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Developing production web applications in a team environment 
  • Effective use of source code control system like Git
  • Engagement in unit testing frameworks, preferably Junit
  • Hiring talent and contribute to talent development life cycle
  • Proactive measures of offshore delivery and ensure efficiency
  • Collaborating with Onshore partners and coach offshore resources accordingly
  • Perform organization activities – manage utilization, business reviews, transformation practices, initiatives etc.
  • Ability to work independently utilizing critical thinking and discretionary decision-making skill sets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced customer support skills.
