Position Summary

 

 

 

Unit Manager for GTO PPM Tools Team with Project Management, individual contribution and client relationship management as core responsibilities.

 

Ensure operational excellence through the identification, prioritization, and implementation of projects that meet strategic, tactical, market, and customer demands. Identifies and resolves project interdependencies, overlaps and integration concerns across the enterprise. Develops and implements a consistently deployed approach to multi-disciplinary project management.

 

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

 

 

  1. Oversee all business aspects of projects including defining project schedules, managing resources, and monitoring timelines.
  2. Responsibilities include managing team(s), creating and managing Project Charters, Project Plans, and preparing status reports.
  3. Oversees the day to day operations of the Business Analysis & User Experience teams and support a wide range of capabilities.
  4. Responsible for adhering to SDLC standards and applying them to every phase of the project
  5. Prepares communications regarding status of projects; interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors.
  6. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Takes projects from original conception through implementation. Performs other related duties as assigned or required
  7. Provide project management support on various concurrent initiatives.
  8. Responsible for relationship management with both external and internal partners

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Any Stream) or Diploma holders with at least 15 years of education
  • Certification in related field would be added advantage
  • IT Graduates with at least 5 years of educations shall be preferred

 

Experience

  • 6 - 8 Years in Project Management or related field
  • Knowledge of metrics and project governance methodologies

  • Self-starter independent thinker
  • Excellent Coordination skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to identify issues with reporting and work with teams to correct
  • Strong communication skills, ability to convey information succinctly
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good judgment, flexibility, diplomacy and tact. Exercises discretion/confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Call Center environment preferred but not required
  • Ability to build relationships and influence complex cross-functional organizations
  • Ability to handle multiple high priority assignments simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines

 

Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)

  • SAFe Agile certification (a plus but not required)
  • PMP Certification (a plus but not required)

  • Manager for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support.
  • Sr. Manager / SDL for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the Manager and monthly evaluation of performance.
  • Manager for the purpose of seeking cooperation & clarification on process-related matters & providing assistance and support when required.
  • Subject Matter Expert for the purpose of work thread related issues and escalated transactions.
