Basic Function:

  • Excellent written & Verbal communication skills, should have handled International projects
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of MetLife data centers as well as clientele

Essential Functions:

  • Perform Database Monitoring on all the in-scope inventory.
  • Check and verify Logs on timely basis and take appropriate actions.
  • Create dashboards for GOSC and Stateside stakeholders.
  • Follow-up with stakeholders on all the valid exceptions reported.
  • Share Weekly/Bi-Weekly /Monthly BAU/Adhoc reports with International & External stakeholder
  • Assess groups and Id’s for apt access under Guardium
  • MetLife data center and domain expertise required to analyze threats and mitigation strategies
  • Guardium Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly Reporting
  • Maintain / update / keep accurate Guardium Version 10.0 Upgrade Schedules.
  • Prepare for weekend Guardium Version 10.0 Upgrades and coordinate with in various MetLife teams

         -   Acquire correct Guardium Configuration Information

         -   Create ServiceNow change requests for upgrades.

 

 

Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Guardium tools and implementation along with Database Integration
  • Strong knowledge in the security aspects of multiple RDBMS platforms including MongoDB
  • CISSP/CISA/RHEL/OCP/MSP certifications preferred (Not mandatory)
  • MetLife data center and domain expertise required to analyze threats and mitigation strategies
  •  

 

Process Specific Skills

Education Requirements:

 

  • Graduation in any domain with desired level of domain expertise

 

Work Experience Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of combined working experience in managed Database domain, with in-depth understanding of Guardium tool
  • Microsoft Suite experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • About 1-2 years of experience in any scripting i.e. JSON, Javascript, Perl, Python or PowerShell (Optional)
  • Strong knowledge in the security aspects of multiple RDBMS platforms including MongoDB, operating systems software
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good analytical and investigative ability
  • Some Project Management experience (Optional)
