Managing the UAT Test Management and Defect Management for various projects.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

 

  • Liaison with the team throughout the testing process
  • Perform the Test Governance starting from Test Planning, Defining Testing Scope, Test Scenarios Review, Preparing Traceability Matrix, Test Case and Defect Management.
  • Review incoming defects for completeness and follow with the testers on missing information (including requesting them to attach evidence, as appropriate)
  • Upload and maintain Test Requirements & Test cases
  • Coordinate with the teams to deliver testing status, defect status reporting
  • As required, publish daily/weekly/ad-hoc status reports leveraging testing data, reporting and dashboards
  • Support testers and regional coordinators in updating testing progress and entry of defects in the test management tool

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

Education

  • B. Tech with strong Testing and Project Management knowledge

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in relevant field is required

 

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Testing knowledge – writing test cases, scenarios
  • Should be very well verse with SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle
  • Should have experience in Test Governance
  • Should have knowledge in Azure Devops
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical issues with conclusions and recommendations.
  • Testing (functional, Integration, System)
  • Defect Management
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Client Handling skills
