Specialist - IT Operations



Position Summary


Responsible for managing, and supporting various security initiatives around clean up of privileged access controls. Resolution of steps on permission failures on AIX, Windows and Linux servers.

Support various Identity and Access management initiatives like CyberArk implementation, monitoring of privileged access controls etc.

Perform automation efforts using coding languages like C Sharp, Poweshell scripting, SQL, Java etc



Job Responsibilities



  • Password change and troubleshooting on various windows and Linux server related issues
  • Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows  and Linux systems.
  • Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.
  • Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.
  • Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
  • Troubleshooting system and server errors.
  • Perform automation in systems and platforms using programming languages like Java, SQL, Python, C SHARP, Powershell scripting etc
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
  • Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities





  • BCA, BTech Computers or Engineering




  • 4 years plus experience as a system administrator ( Windows and linux administrator)
  • Experience in web API’s and powershell scripting
  • Programming languages like SQL or Java or Python
  • Knowledge of operating systems, databases etc
  • CyberArk Experience



Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users and other technical support personnel.
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.


Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)


  •  VB Script, Power BI experience is a plus.
