Position Summary

 

 

This position is located within the Analytics and Business Intelligence group, which provides actionable BI solutions to support MetLife Business operations and strategy.  The incumbent would work as part of this team to support the BI tools.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

 

  1. Ability to work with BI reporting platform like Hyperion Essbase
  2. Extensive experience in developing Essbase ASO/BSO cubes
  3. Advanced MAXL scripting and Calc script creation and modification
  4. Experience in creating maestro jobs and job streams
  5. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and PeopleSoft financials general ledger
  6. Performance tuning & BSO optimization

 

 

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education

 

Experience

  • Total experience of 6+ years

 

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Hands on experience in BI reporting platform like Hyperion Essbase
  • ASO/BSO cubes and MAXL scripting
  • Maestro jobs and job streams
  • Expertise on Oracle PL/SQL queries
  • Reconciliation research experience
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment
