Position is responsible for supporting the Data Governance Office (DGO) in the delivery of best-in-class methodologies for the design and implementation of Data Management and Workflow Development initiatives with Collibra. This position is responsible for supporting current projects on performing BPMN workflow analysis and Development, create and maintain Business Glossary and Data Dictionary with the help of Collibra. This position will support in maintenance of data governance documentation, including training materials, meeting agendas, announcements, communications plans, project plans and meeting minutes. The position will create and maintain status reports, issues lists, and monitor metrics and SLA’s.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Serves as a solutions expert , at the business unit level developing the most advanced end-to-end solution architecture for highly complex and significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders.
  • Exposes current state architecture and identifies options for future state architecture.
  • Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns.
  • Develops plans for and facilitates the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives.
  • Implementation of data dictionary, business glossary, data lineage and data quality metrics for the identified CDEs in Collibra.
  • Strategy for appropriate structures and Framework in DGC
  • Rationalize and influence enterprise toolset integration and
  • development
  • Solutioning reference data hierarchies and engagement
  • model
  • Recommend Metamodel and Ontological relationships
  • Define overall metadata standard and controls
  • Develop courseware materials for Collibra and IMM
  • Develop the overall technical solutioning for data governance initiatives, interacting across departments (business, operations, and IT) to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Execute Data Governance strategy and manage the development of custom capabilities & workflows within the GOSC data governance solution Collibra
  • Extend workflow with Data Stewards and Leads, build dashboards and reports. Review and confirm Collibra DG organization design including roles, data policies, and procedures
  • Develop workflows for Data service Agreement process, controlled asset publication for Business terms, Entities, Valid Values, DSA’s.
  • Implement end to end Data quality solution by integrating Collibra with Data Quality and metadata Manager tools through custom Collibra connect flows
  • Enable complex integrations between Collibra and various data sources/ systems throughout the division, ensuring Collibra is a central Governing mechanism and integrated meta-data management solution
  • Work with different data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON
  • Develop and build Collibra Integration solutions, API with downstream applications and databases.
  • Perform development and integration of applications pertaining to Lending platform for strategic initiatives and user requested improvements.
  • Be the technical SME for WM and Data governance Tech team for developing and upgrading applications by creating components leveraging Groovy/Python/MS MACRO/Collibra.
  • Work with lager business teams to get new requirements, analyzing and roll out technical deliverables while working in Agile model
  • Responsible for upgrades and future developments of Data Governance tool suites.
  • Support several engagements with Collibra DGC, integrating metadata and data lineage into Collibra from various sources including ETL tools
  • Deliver Guided Training and Mentoring for Data Stewards needed to support the new Collibra processes,

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

Education

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Accounting, Computer Science or Finance as well as any other related field of expertise

 

Experience

  • 2 to 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry in one or more of the following areas: Collibra Development, Metadata Management, Business Analysis, Compliance, Data Analysis & Reporting

 

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Good exposure to Collibra Development, Metadata Management, Data Quality methodologies
  • Experience with system implementations and process improvement initiatives related to asset origination and asset management workflows
  • Good exposure to Groovy/Java Scripting on Eclipse/Actviti Workflow Development
  • Working knowledge 5.x Collibra Data Governance Center Database applications (Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Working knowledge of Java J2SE, J2EE, JSON and REST programming
  • Experience configuring Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC)
  • Experience in Integrations with Collibra integration using Collibra connect MuleSoft
  • Experience implementing Collibra Workflows, building Metamodel and other necessary Collibra setup.
  • Experience providing industry best standards, processes and expertise to address strategic enterprise data management, metadata management, data quality, analytical and data governance initiatives for clients.
  • Delivered solutions for BCBS 239 and GDPR regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with code repository and version control tools such as Bitbucket
  • Strong SQL background with many RDBMS such as: SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres
