Role:

Performance Testing & Engineering subject matter expert with good knowledge of Insurance domain. Preferred tool for testing as APICA.

 

Responsibilities :-

  • Conduct application performance testing to ensure reliability, capacity, scalability and resilience.
  • Application Synthetic Monitoring of production systems
  • Capture and analyze business requirements with stakeholders to determine performance test strategy .
  • Preparation of performance test plan, test scripts, test data and test scenarios followed by test execution.
  • Analyze root causes of performance issues and suggest corrective actions/recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Generate performance test summary reports and facilitates reports sign off.
  • Lead performance testing team, performance activities and facilitate impediments closure.
  • Collaborate with Design, DevOps and Network team for performance tuning.
  • Management of test data
  • Prepare performance dashboard for end/business users.

 

 

Skill Set :

  • Should have good understanding on load testing tools – APICA/other performance testing tools
  • Should have good understanding of APM tools ( AppDynamics, or similar tools)
  • Ability to do workload modelling based on business usage model
  • Experience in all aspects of Non Functional Testing ( Load , Stress , Endurance, Scalability, Volume etc)
  • Familiarity with at least one leading cloud platform [ Azure preferred ]
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and ability to create Continuous Testing performance pipelines
  • Ability to do statistical analysis, understand data visualization techniques to create performance dashboards for end/business users  
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience of working in agile teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques to improve application performance.
  • Provide insights into the results with recommendations for stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and architecture, including operating systems, networks, databases, and web servers.
  • Experience in Log Tracing tool like Splunk for log analysis.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python/PowerShell  to create custom codes/logic for performance scripts enhancements
