Assistant Manager - Technology Services


Position Summary



This role will be a part of enterprise infrastructure engineering organization with prime focus and requirements in managing Ivanti portfolio, PC management tools, patching activities through SCCM, Nexthink etc..



  • Analyze and evaluate major system project requirements of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the system. Review user requirements and provide direction in the identification of problem and potential resolution.
  • Validate Appsense / Ivanti  documents, RCA s and reports
  • Review and work on incidents and service requests, analyze and provide inputs for improvement in quality.
  • Recommending best practices implementations
  • Adhere and ensure all the team members follow documented processes. Actively participate in project discussions and meeting
  • Manage Appsense / Ivanti license migrations and renewals
  • Check and resolve security reported concern/ events
  • Point of contact for all Appsense related escalations
  • Hands on experience in managing User Workspace Manager (Appsense).
  • Provide work guidance or technical assistance to less senior engineer
  • Experience in Installing, Configuring, troubleshooting and supporting XenDesktop 7
  • Experience on implementation and troubleshooting skills of Citrix NetScaler and XenApp/XenDesktop
  • Proven ability implementing Best Practices, Optimization, Fine Tuning skills on citrix Infrastructure
  • Expert knowledge of Nexthink including the customization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities





  • MCA, MSc. Computers or Engineering




  • 8 plus years of total experience and atleast 6 years in Ivanti, Appsense, Desktop operations management and Nexthink
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues
  • Experience with Service Now
  • Programming languages – Python or Powershell scripting or  JavaScript and SQL

  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally

  • Power BI experience
