Position Summary

 

The Sr. Single Sign-On (SSO) / Federation Services Engineer will be responsible for delivering solutions using various Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools including Broadcom SiteMinder VIP Hub, RSA SecureID and CyberArk.

 

Responsibilities will include analysis, development, installation, modification and support of MetLife’s access management solutions. This position requires the resource to be a subject matter expert (SME) in SSO and Federation. You must have strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality solutions while enforcing adherence to MetLife’s Information Security policies and regulatory obligations.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities of Position

Develop and deliver IAM solutions

Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the development of solution design specifications and deployment Provide Subject Matter Expertise for requirements consulting

Provide leadership in Tier 3 troubleshooting.

Monitor and keep the IAM platforms in compliance and current

Proactively identify technical and procedural areas of concern and proposes pragmatic solutions Guides team towards architecture North Star

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

 

Education

 

  • MCA, MSc. Computers or Engineering

 

             

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience

  • 8 plus years of total experience and at least 6 years in SSO (Single Sign On) and Federation. Site Minder VIP Hub, Secure ID and CyberArk.
  • R12.8 and R12.52 expertise with install, upgrade and configuration for SiteMinder policy servers, access gateways, web agents, web agent option pack
  • Experience in Access gateway, both at SiteMinder side as well as network side
  • Good knowledge on various OIDC grants and implementations.
  • SSO onboarding experience with all types of web applications (Apache, IIS etc.,)
  • SAML federation concepts and implementation experience.

 

  • Experience in:
  • Migration experience v12.x to v12.8.05
  • Good experience with SiteMinder v12.x policy server and agent installation, configuration, and support
  • Good experience in installing, configuring, and supporting web services using SiteMinder v12.x or with similar Web Access Management (WAM) solutions (e.g., AD FS, IBM TIM/TAM, Oracle OAM, etc.)
  • Experience with SiteMinder Federation or with similar federation products (e.g., ADFS, PingFederate, etc.)

 

 

 

Knowledge and skills

(general and technical)

  • Programming language like Java, J2EE - Preferable
  • Knowledge on Rest API services.
  • Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements
  • Flexibility in working hours and handling escalation and pressure situations
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally

Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)

-        Experience installing, configuring and supporting Apache, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), or MS IIS

Experience in working on privileged access management systems like CyberArk, RSA SecureID
