Position Summary

 

Basic Function

  • Metrics & Reporting Team Lead/Assistant Manager should have a strong understanding for developing and managing reports for Global Procurement, including metrics for Procurement, TPRM & Sourcing performance functions
  • Metrics & Reporting Team Lead/Assistant Manager will be required to work with US and GOSC management to assess and publish existing reports and metrics per the established schedule and develop new reports and metrics.
  • Managing end to end feed extraction, development and preparation for assigned area of reporting focus; preparation for ingestion into proBIT
  • Interact with GOSC Quality, Operations and US management and utilize Six Sigma methodology to evaluate the metric data for process improvement opportunities.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Perform evaluation on existing reports and operational data from an accuracy perspective, for the purposes of identifying anomalies & opportunities and assessing performance
  • Perform additional ad-hoc Due Diligence activities in support of Stakeholders needs
  • Perform low to high complexity, ad-hoc, report development in support of Stakeholders needs within proBIT
  • Prepare and present reporting & dashboards intended for SLA reviews and monthly performance analysis for Stakeholders and Supervisor
  • Review and manage SOPs for the process and engage in regular reviews to keep documents updated
  • Utilize performance indicator / metric data to identify process improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis, and work with GOSC Quality, Operations and US management for process improvement proposals.
  • Any other essential function that may occur from time to time as directed by the Supervisor.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

Education

  • Graduate or Diploma holders with at least 15 years of education

 

Experience

  • 6-8 years working experience in Quality and metrics, with a preference for specific Supply Chain, Real Estate and Corporate functions experience as required. 

 

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

Technical skills:

  • Highly proficient at Excel and MS Access including, i.e. using formulas & functions for data study and visual creation
  • Highly proficient at MS word and PowerPoint including, i.e. visuals to use based on audience/content, formatting content in the form of a storyline, etc.
  • Highly proficient at proBIT tool including, i.e. report and dashboard development, understanding of categorization functionality, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL
  • Basic understanding of how to preform and interpret trends
  • Understanding of how data is related
  • Proven analytical and research skills.

 

Process Specific Skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of Global Supply Chain: Procurement, Purchase to Pay, Sourcing, Real Estate functions, and Corporate Services.
  • Understanding, at a granular level, the process of receiving a requisition, checking for adherence, approving and transmitting to Supplier, performance KPIs, etc.
  • Understanding the strategic imperatives of the TPRM function including key risk indicators, PSRA process, performance KPIs, etc.
  • Understanding imperatives of Sourcing and the purpose of contracting.

 

Soft Skills (minimum):

  • Communicate and present – both verbally and in writing – complex data and evaluation insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders
  • Ability to actively listen for explicit and implied meaning
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Ability to raise questions and concerns quickly to the stakeholders when problems arise

 

Soft Skills (desired):

  • Keep major stakeholders informed as to process timelines and expected results
  • Ability to discern best practice quality strategy, and a plan to incorporate it for each specified Global Procurement processes
  • Ability to persuade management on quality / performance metrics recommendations
