Assistant Manager - GCSO Metrics & Risk Management

Position Summary

The resource has to support GCSO Stateside Metrics team in reporting and governance of GCSO Metrics and work closely with EMEA, Asia, LatAm, US Country SPOCs for metrics validation, reporting, change management and data and standard governance


Job Responsibilities



Prepare the following reports on periodic basis

  • Monthly Metrics collection and Validation – GCSO in scope countries
  • Review input template EG dashboard and other management reportouts
  • Prepare and consolidate dashboards for regional Markets and update notes for missing data
  • Report key operations and customer centricity metrics for Governance and leadership on Daily, Weekly, Monthly and adhoc basis
  • Follow-up with countries on missing data and VDAT for missed SLAs (Variance, Driver, Action, Timelines)
  • Support Metrics Data change control process
  • Manage data and reporting templates for countries and support template changes due to business and governance requirements as per guidelines provided
  • Support for US limited to generating charts for key operations and customer centricity metrics for EG Dashbaord Reporting
  • Participate in metrics related weekly review meeting to support Dashboard delivery
  • Support Metrics Standardization on need and available capacity basis



In order to accomplish this, the resource will need to manage critical relationships (in a matrix environment) with all regional leads and key country metrics contacts along with managing internal responsibilities as outlined below:




















Knowledge, Skills and Abilities




  • B. Tech/ Graduation from Tier 1/ Tier 2 College



  • Overall experience of 4 - 7 years. Preferably over 3 - 4 years of experience in an insurance company in Business Analysis and reporting role with extensive use of Advanced Excel, macros and Power Query


Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Ability to comprehend requirements and conceptualize data analysis and visualization
  • Strong data analysis and superior problem-solving skills
  • Strong PC Application Skills (MS Office, including PowerPoint and Advanced Excel)
  • Good VBA and macro development skills
  • Working knowledge of Power Query
  • Proficient in Data & Business Analysis
  • Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple assignments concurrently with minimal direction in an evolving, fast paced work environment
  • Self-disciplined, Self-Initiating and result oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels, including understanding, documenting complex ideas and requirements into actionable steps.
  • Ability to work independently, with little to no supervision
  • Used to a fast pace of working and willing to commit to long working hours to achieve project deadlines when required
  • Good Team player


Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)

  • Knowledge of PowerBI will be an added advantage
