Position Summary

 

Data Governance - Collibra Position is responsible for supporting the Data Governance Office (DGO) in the delivery of best-in-class methodologies for the design, implementation and adoption of Data Governance Center – Collibra Platform. This position will be supporting the overall design, development and service delivery by providing solution for end to end implementation of Collibra platform by partnering with key Business and IT stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Data Governance

  • Candidate must have at least 5+ Years of experience in Data Governance/ Data Management/ Quality Projects with experience on Data Governance Center- Collibra
  • Must have Working knowledge of Data governance Center (Collibra) to Implement data dictionaries, business glossary, data maps, data lineage, reporting catalog and data quality metrics for the identified CDEs
  • Familiar with all available and upcoming features of Collibra
  • Familiar with Change Management implementation and monitoring
  • Hands-on exposure to Requirements Gathering, Efforts Estimation for Collibra development and deployment
  • Working knowledge of Collibra community, sub community, Domains types and Attributes structure
  • Good exposure to reports and dashboards creation process in Collibra
  • Good exposure to Collibra Console, customization and backup processes
  • Experience in running triage calls and working with business and technical stakeholders to understand the requirement  
  • Familiar with extend workflow development with Data Stewards and Leads to build dashboards and reports.
  • Review and confirm Collibra DG organization design including roles, data policies, and procedures
  • Worked on data quality rules and implemented BI integration to develop reports in Collibra
  • Design and implement operating model and Community/ domains in Collibra
  • Familiar with business and technical asset onboarding process in Collibra
  • Monitor data governance metrics and SLAs, assuring required KPI levels are within established thresholds
  • Assist in establishing guidelines and protocols for effectively managing the data assets in Collibra.
  • Create Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) – Metamodels including assets, relationships, domains and communities
  • Design and Develop BPMN workflows in Eclipse and Activiti workbench
  • Good to have SQL Database architecture and SQL query knowledge

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

 

Education

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or IT or other related field.

 

Experience

  • 5+ Years of experience in Data Governance/ Data Management/ Quality Projects  
  • 2 years’ experience on Data Governance Center- Collibra

 

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • Demonstrate superior verbal communication and relationship building skills
  • Good knowledge of Collibra and Microsoft Office tools, including MS PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project developing high-quality visual aid materials for senior management presentations
  • 2+ years of experience with Collibra Development, Metadata Management, Data Quality methodologies
  • Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management.
  • Experience with metamodel design
  • Familiarity with code repository and version control tools such as Bitbucket
  • Working knowledge to Build workflow using Collibra Core API’s
  • Working knowledge on integration using Collibra import API’s
  • Good Exposure to Metadata management, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary and Data Lineage implementation
  • Design and implement operating model and Community/ domains in Collibra
  • Good Understanding of Collibra DGC platform
  • Experience in adopting best practices for Collibra Metamodel design.
  • Experience of working on Spring Boot template-based connectors (Collibra provided) to communicate with various applications.
  • Groovy/Java Scripting Eclipse/Activiti Workflow Development Years of Solution Design Python Development Microsoft Macro Development Preferred
  • Good to have knowledge of BI and Dimensional Modelling is plus
  • Experience in classification of Metadata and building guided stewardship process
  • Experience in building end to end technical lineage using lineage harvester

 

Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required)

  • Good to have Collibra Solution Architect Exam Certification
  • Good to have Ranger Certification
  • SQL
  • Java, Python, Groovy language experience
